- Capt Tom has been fishing all his life with his dad and grandfather on all bodies of water, but Lake Michigan was a staple for his fathers. Tom fished professionally for muskies for several years and then he started concentrating on teaching and taking out friends and family to enjoy what he has learned and grown to love. Capt Tom runs trips out of Winthrop Harbor aboard 22' Vexus Dual console. This area is known for Salmon, Coho Salmon and Lake Trout and you'll get to catch them using trolling, or other techniques. He also guides on inland lakes for multi species specializing in muskie. The only way to learn is to join them on the water.
- Techniques
- For inland lakes for muskie, I like casting, but to put fish in the boat, you have to do what the fish want. For salmon fishing, we troll, but in early spring and late fall, we will jig and cast for them.
