I began fishing at the age of 4. My parents were avid anglers and took me to the water every day during the summer months. My older sister also took me fishing, as I was a total addict. I have always had an appreciation for the experience of fishing and being there either alone or with people I wish to share my passion with. I have fished this area for 48 years and it has been a pure joy because you never know what is going to swim up to you. I would love to share my experience and help you make some memories with your family and friends. I always strive to treat each trip as though I were taking my friends and family fishing.

6 Hour Trip –Trolling/Bottom Summer - 11:30 AM • 7 adultsWe had a great time on our six hour bottom fishing! We caught some mahi-mahi, grouper, snapper, and a few other types of fish. The captain did a great job of moving on to find another place if the fish weren’t biting fast enough. our deck hand was Hayden and he did an awesome job keeping our lines baited, and and capturing our fish! Would definitely recommend Captain Black!

8 Hour Trip – Reef Fishing Spring • 4 adultsBooked this charter for my dad, cousin and uncle. Could not go out because of wether and they swifty offered an alternative! the boys came home with fish and had a blast! cant wait to rebook for an off shore charter! the ladies went off on a cruise to celebrate the life of our grandparents, the captain spoke highly of captain Black and his crew!

4 Hour Trip – Trolling Summer • 4 adults • 1 childGreat experience! It was our first time trolling, so I wasn’t sure what to expect, but Hayden made it easy from start to finish. He had us set up and catching fish in no time, and we ended up reeling in plenty! He was knowledgeable, patient, and made the trip a lot of fun. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a great day on the water!

The deckhand was a stand in and even thought he was just 18 yrs old, Carter was a hard working deck uand and was knowledgeable. Very great trip! Will book a longer trip the next time with this Captain!

Red Snapper Season is almost here!

Red Snapper is considered the King of the Gulf of America and is one of the most sought after fish. Hard fighting and great table fare makes Red Snapper a favorite at local restaurants and are shipped around the world. Fishing with live bait, cut bait such as squid and filets of oily fish such as mackerel are a great way to put snapper in the box. During peak summer months you will see the Panama City Beach charter boat fishing fleet flooding the docks with these fish and some are really big such as the one in the pic above.
