Great Day Scalloping
2025 Scalloping trip on August 9, 2025 • 2 adults
My wife and I had never been scalloping and did not know what to expect. Capt Drew was very knowledgeable and easy going. He had us on spots early and we limited out by the end of the trip. We felt very fortunate finding Capt Drew as we heard over his radio a few other captains were having a hard time finding scallops. We had a blast and would highly recommend Capt Drew.

Capt drew and his mate were really great. They put us right on the scallops and we limited out. They were patient in explaining what to look for and how to use the equipment. Will definitely book with them again.

What's biting with 5 Star Fishing in Steinhatchee

This is a good month to reel in anything from sizeable Redfish and Speckled Trout to massive Black Drum inshore, as well as Black Seabass, and maybe even a Houndfish here and there. Offshore, Amberjack can get colossal.
