This would probably have been a great trip but it was too rough to go out to sea and so we “trolled” the harbor and snagged two small fish - really disappointing for the kids.  Spent alot of money for a three hour harbor tour basically. They gave us some frozen fish to take back to eat and they were really nice. My family and I went out with Captain John and Nick. The boat was in great shape and well maintained. These guys were professional in every way. My 15yo son latched into what turned out to be an 83lb Wahoo! Captain John talked him through the fight and they brought it in! I highly recommend booking with A Slice of Life!

John and Nick were exceptional.  Boat was new and very comfortable to fish out of.  Caught a lot of fish but most had to be returned to the water because of size requirements or not in season.  All in all my group had a very good experience and will fish with them again on our next trip to Florida.  Five star rating

We had a great time fishing with John and Nick.  We took our young kids, 4 and 6 years old, and they had a great time as well.  They got us right on the fish and were awesome at having the kids get in on the action and reel in a bunch of fish.  They even grabbed a bunch of pictures for us! They were great guys and great fishing guides.

We told Mike and his deck hand Nick that we were mainly looking for action and he put on right on a spot where I’m sure we would have caught fish all day. Their chemistry as a crew and overall attitude was great and for a group of a bunch of military guys they did a great job because we can be difficult to manage. They were both very professional and knowledgeable of all questions we had and I would recommend them to anyone looking to get out on the water and have a great time.
