    First Michigan Salmon trip father and son

    6 Hour Trip (PM) • 2 adults

    The whole experience was great. Instruction for location and pick up time from the captian were clear. The boat and tackle were in fine working order. We wxplained this was our first trip and Anthony was more than helpful. I caught my first King Salmon within 10 minutes of arriving to the first hole. My son also hooked but lost his first in 15 minutes. Anthony puts you on the fish. The rest is on you and thw luck of the bite of course. I will say Anthony is fast at rigging tackle and his netting skills are expert. I will book again for steelhead in the early spring.

    4 Hour Trip – Evening Power Hour • 3 adults

    I would like to highly recommend Steelhead Nation Outfitters for your next charter fishing experience. Captain Anthony and First Mate Mike were extremely welcoming and friendly. Captain Anthony answered all of my questions regarding booking an appointment down to preparing for the trip. After meeting the guys in person it’s completely apparent that they both love what they are doing and it definitely shows in their words and actions. Mike is extremely helpful and hard working first mate. There wasn’t a minute that went by where he wasn’t providing assistance to the kids or giving encouragement. We had a great time salmon fishing guys!! Thank you for making our first experience out a memorable event. I can’t say enough good things.

    A True Die-Hard Fisherman Who Knows How to Put You on Fish!

    6 Hour Trip (AM) • 5 adults

    We had an incredible experience with Captain Anthony and first mate Mike! From the moment we left the dock, they were friendly, professional, and made us feel welcome. They were both extremely knowledgeable, always explaining what we were doing, why we were doing it, and answering every question we had throughout the trip. They were also great to talk to, which made the day even more enjoyable. The fishing was outstanding—we ended the trip with 15 king salmon, 1 coho, and 1 steelhead! They worked hard to keep us on fish all day and made sure everyone had a chance to reel in some great catches. If you're looking for a charter with experienced, hardworking, and genuinely great people, I can't recommend Captain Anthoy and Mike enough. This was a trip we'll remember for a long time, and we'll definitely be booking with them again!

    Limit on the Betsie

    6 Hour Trip (AM) • 1 adult

    It was my 2nd year fishing with Capt Anthony. I highly recommend him. Hes a true professional at his craft. We fished some fresh runs one day on the Big Man and one day on the Betsie. Both days were quite memorable with a lot of hard fighting action. The Betsie can be a real challenge but Anthony knows the river avoids the timber and gets the Kings in the boat. One hard fighting King took an incredible amount of work to get into the boat. Enjoyed fishing with his dog Waylon. Great time Capt Anthony, look forward to fishing with you again!

    Absolutely phenomenal captain and first name mateate

    I picked this charter because I loved the boat. I've been on a charter in the Great lakes before and it felt like I was on a military fishing trip not so much fun. These guys were excellent they were fun they were ambitious they helped us with everything we needed help with they made sure we got on the fish and we caught 14 big salmon awesome day for everyone can't thank them enough for this wonderful day. They even helped my father-in-law get a big King Salmon pulled in. It made his day as all of ours thanks again yours truly Tara Young

Its been cold up here in north west michigan but the fish are still biting! Mid day/early afternoon when the water is the warmest has been the best bite window. Come up and visit to see the beautiful manistee river in the winter and catch some steelhead with us!
