We went out looking for walleye, and unfortunately the weather wasnt cooperating.  He advised to either extend the trip or pick a different day, and that wasnt possible for us because we were only starting off a bachelor party here and other guests were scheduled to arrive at my home in the afternoon.  So we went out anyways and took advantage of the islands sheltering the water a bit.  it was not the ideal location and we were advised of that, but due to time and weather it was the only choice.... I wanted to introduce my son to lake fishing, and thought a sunset cruise trip would be a great place to start. So my friend and I brought our boys, and Captain Zac did an awesome job for us. From the start it was easy and a great experience. Very welcoming and helped us get set up and on some fish. Booked a last minute evening trip while on vacation in Ohio for my two boys (ages 11 and 8) who recently discovered they love fishing. Zac was fabulous with my boys and helped them with everything they needed (since mom and dad don’t fish 😂). They caught several walleyes and fresh water drum. They had the time of their lives and it is an experience they will always remember. Will definitely book again if we come back.
