We had an incredible experience on our recent 8-hour shark fishing charter! From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. I’ve tried several different charters from Casco bay to Saco, Capt. Eric and GQ charters were the best by far. He is extremely knowledgeable about the local waters, got us out fishing right away, and supplied us with all the information we needed to have a great day. He’s also just a blast to talk to. Eric is a real expert and knows what he is doing! This was a highlight of our Maine trip and we had stripers for dinner a few nights after, plus to bring back. We went on a good day and caught many stripers, including a huge 41” fish and even my partner who has never fished before got a 40” one (releasing these of course). Eric helped us get amazing photos and to fillet the fish afterwards.

My husband and I went on this trip with our 16-year-old son and his friend, and we all absolutely loved it! Captain Eric was fantastic—he spent time talking with the boys and teaching them about different types of fishing. It was such a great family experience, and we’ll definitely be doing this again. My Grandson really wanted to go striper fishing for his 12th birthday. We decided to go with GQ charters again because of great experience last year, Captain Eric did not let us down.He not only put us on the fish a ll day , he was very engaging to a curious12 year old. We caught three keepers and released many others.A great experience We would highly recommend.
