    Challenging Fishing Trip

    6 Hour Fishing Trip SEASON • 1 adult

    I charted a fishing trip with Waterboy Charters and Captain Slade. The trip was a positive experience, but we encountered some unexpected and tough weather during our trip—The wind picked up, the seas were high with whitecaps, it rained, and the big fish just weren't cooperating. Despite these conditions, Captain Slade worked incredibly hard and remained completely in engaged the entire time. He adapted quickly, finding us hidden coves so I could still pull in some smaller fish and enjoy the day. He is a truly a nice person and a good captain who genuinely cares about his clients' experience. Even though we didn't land the big one this time. I will absolutely fish with him again!

    Small town vibe

    FALL SPECIAL 8 hour Trip • 2 adults

    I keep falling in love with this place, one of the wildest ecosystems ever and it feels like stepping back in time.. This day we caught our limit of mangrove, a heavy hand-full of trout, snook, and a few sails. The mullet are showing up it can be seen with the dolphins playing in prop wash, and the turtles popping up to see who’s who. It’s a great place to visit, enjoy, and the local are happy to accept you. (It’s not Key West) Don’t miss out on checking out EGC the rod and gun club and or the Smallwood store Thank you, Capt. Bobby & fam again We will be back soon

    Great fishing trip!

    FALL SPECIAL 4 hour Trip • 3 adults

    Booking the trip online was easy and quickly confirmed. The boat was nice. Everything we needed was provided as far as the fishing and tackle. Captain Slade was a great host. We fished really good spots and caught the keeper redfish we were hoping for along with other edible species! Had a fun time catching all kinds of fish and our captain was friendly, knowledgeable, and right on task helping us every step of the way! Highly recommend this charter and Captain Slade!

    Puttin’ on the Fish

    6 Hour Trip – Season • 2 adults

    Growing up and living on the Gulf my entire life Ive fished from The Keys to Corpus. Today was one of the best! Capt Bobby (Waterboy Charters) out if Everglades City put us on fish immediately and kept us on them for hours! We caught many kinds of fish. But we chased and caught black drum until my teenage son finally called “uncle”. His left hand was tired from reeling, his right tired from gripping and both hips were sore from bracing the end of the pole to haul in the numerous huge black drum. We took a fishing break and played with the dolphins in the boat wake and then got back to it. We had a great time spotting the schools, following them and catching so many big fish.     Super trip with Cap'n Bobby

    6 Hour Trip – Season • 2 adults

    My husband Jim and I went out with Captain Bobby from Everglades City for a 6 hr trip. We caught quite a variety of fish - if a site wasn't productive in a short while - he moved to another spot to keep us catching fish. We hadn't fished in quite a while and he kept coaching and encouraging us with humor and banter and we really did well. He helped me, casting out and then handing the rod back to me to hook and reel in fish. I know I would have gotten really tired before our time was up but for his help. I know anybody would do well on a trip with him, but also he would be great for families, as he was so patient with us newbies. You would really enjoy fishing with him.

    Captain Bobby was amazing! Was able to put us on the fish immediately, and had lots of knowlege about the area. The boat was very clean and comfortable. Wonderful fishing and tour guide! 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking to get on the water.

    myself and my two younger boys had a great morning fishing. We all caught a variety of fish. Slade was knowledgeable of the area and helped with casting and handling the fish. At the end he cleaned and filleted our catch. We all thoroughly enjoyed our trip.

    Capt. Bobby is a great guide and put us on tons of fish, even completing a slam. He was very amenable to what we wanted to do/catch and was very helpful and personable! Will definitely be booking another trip with him!

    Capt. Slade kept us moving to find fish. We caught mangrove snapper, trout, redfish, snook, ladyfish, and a few catfish. Hooked into a decent shark. Finished strong with 3 juvenile tarpon to hand. As the kids say, Slade is super chill.

    Very lucky tonfind Captan Bobby and Waterboy Charters. Captain Bobby was very professional and knowledgeable. We caught alot of fish and it was a great trip. The Captain made is very easy and put us on fish everytime we dropped a line. it was easy to find. the boat was well equipped with the tackle ready to go and we took have fish to eat. we will definitely be back soon. Dont miss a great experience!

    Capitan Bobby was knowledgeable and fun. We caught lots of fish and kept enough trout for dinner. We tried many different places. We saw lots of birds and dolphins. On the way in he made a large wake for the dolphins to play in. Would recommend to anyone coming to the Everglades and looking for a fun charter to book with Capitan Bobby.

Summer fishing was great with some serious catching of Tarpon, Trout, Redfish, Snook and Grouper! While live bait works a good amount of the time, use of artificial baits such as top water plugs, jerk baits and paddletails have been producing well also! Patience pays off when it comes to searching for those big fish! Give us a call to get your dates in the calendar for a chance to land some of these awesome fish!!
