Capt. Steve is a SoCal native with a lifetime of fishing experience both inshore and offshore. Growing up in Los Angeles has given Steve the opportunity to fish for everything from Calico Bass in the Harbor to Tuna on the banks. The passion and love he has for fishing is evident from the moment you step on board. When he is not guiding clients, he is either fishing with family and friends, or talking fishing as a marketing manager for one of the largest tackle manufacturers in Southern California! Steve prides himself on his customer service and looks forward to the opportunity of showing you just that!

Inshore Morning Trip - 4 Hour • 2 adultsWe had an absolutely amazing time. My son said it was his favorite day fishing ever. After quickly catching our limit of rock fish, Steve took us to catch calico bass and sand bass. In between he spotted a baby humpback jumping out of the water and we went to watch that for a while. Overall we brought home over 20 fish to eat. It was a solid day fishing. I would recommend him to anyone and everyone. He was by far the best captain we have had thus far.

Inshore Morning Trip - 4 Hour • 2 adults • 1 childPretty much my kids first time fishing. He was bugging me to take him for a long time. Totally worth it. We got lots of fish and Steve was really good with him. He kept him safe, but also taught him what to do and how to catch the fish. I would recommend anyone with families. Perfect father son fishing trip.

Inshore Morning Trip - 4 Hour • 2 adultsMy dad and I booked a morning trip and Steve knew all the good spots, even though the bass werent biting we caught plenty of rock fish and a few other kinds. It was a wonderful time and would highly reccomend booking with him.

Inshore Late Morning Trip - 2 Hour • 2 adultsWe had a great time fishing with Steve! I get motion sickness easily so we fished in the harbor and was catching fish left and right. Steve was super nice and informative with everything. Would be great to book again sometime!

Inshore Fishing Report – 6/13/26
Today's 4hr trips saw two anglers land a variety of rockfish, along with some bass and a shark. The bite was excellent, with the best action coming around 8am.
Water conditions were calm, and fish were caught using heavy jigs, two hook rigs, and fresh dead squid.
Current target species include rockfish, bass, bonita, barracudas, and a few other species. Now is a great time to get out on the water, and upcoming conditions look excellent.

Inner Harbor bass

Today was not as productive due to strong winds from the west. We were able to tuck into a corner of the harbor and find a few fosh that bit the plastic. Ended the day with 8 mixed bass.

Inner Harbor Bass Fishing

We had a great day of inner harbor fishing on artificial baits. We caught a vareity of sand bass, calico bass, and spotted bay bass. We also lost 2 halibut, one pulled the hook and the other bit onto a bay bass and released it just as we were getting ready to gaff it. Over all a productive day with alot of action.

Rockfish, Sculpin, and a visit from a Th

Had a great day on the water finding limits of vermillion rockfish, a few sculpin, and had an interaction with 6’ Thesher shark. Conditions were good and we didnt have to go far, only about a 20 min boat ride.

Coastal Fishing

On this 4 hour charter we set out looking for some saltwater bass that would bite the artificials. We fished a few structure areas, than transitioned to fishing the beaches. All of the fish were landed using various swimbaits, slugs, and craws. Conditions were good in the morning and we ended up with a mix of Calico Bass, Sand Bass, and Sculpin.

Rockfish on our 2 hour charter

We had short boat ride in the morning and looked for some rockfish that were willing to bite. It was steady fishing and managed to catch some fish tacos. Ended the day with a few reds, some white fish, and a mix of other rockfish.
