  Eddie is a great captain!

  Half Day Trip – Reef Special on June 5, 2026 • 5 adults

  Took my wife my son and inlaws out with Eddie. Ocean was very rough Eddie did what he could 9 miles out but then we talked about how it would not be enjoyable as rough as it was. We made the decision to find calmer waters. We caught trout and some spanish macrol. Eddie was great and even extended our trip for the initial delay. Ended up being an enjoyable day. Would book Eddie or Mike again. Thank you Eddie!!!! appreciate the memories!

  Captian Eddie and Mamma Tried Again was Wonderful!

  This was my family’s first time Ocean Fishing and I could not have asked for a better Captian or trip. Captian Eddie was Amazing. Was the full package. Fun, attentive, knowledgeable, and just a great guy. Could bot ask for a better Captian for our first trip! We caught so many different species and filled our cooler for dinner that night!   Liked It So Much - Did It Again

  6hr– Offshore (up to 9mile) on November 9, 2025

  While my old Navy friend was in town, a 1/2 Day Inshore trip was booked with Captain Eddie at the helm. I'm an experienced fishermen, my pal, not so much - Didn't matter. Captain Eddie took care of him. Whether baiting, coaching, or all around helping out, Captain Eddie was observant and approachable. We had such a good time we booked again, this time for our units' reunion, a 3/4 Day Offshore trip. Let me tell you, the fish were caught like they were going out of style. Highly recommend Captain Eddie and Mama Tried Fishing Again.

  We had theeee perfect day on the water with Captain Eddie! Weather was overcast and the men caught a ton of fish. Captain Eddie cleaned the fish for us and gave us recommendations on how to cook it. He Played great tunes and was just really down to earth Captain. Easy to talk to!!! Thank you!! Highly recommend Mama Tried Fishing Charter.

  Captain Mike and John were amazing . we had so much fun, caught a ton of fish!!! the charter was super relaxing our first meet John took care of us 100% of the time offering us water and comfort. We never had to wait very long for our bait and they were always there for us when we were ready to reel our fish in. Captain Mike and John were super amazing, helpful, knowledgeable, and really made our experience very comfortable. We are so thankful we will definitely book with them again thanks guys.
