Background: Fishing has always intrigued me. As a boy I would fish streams and small lakes with mentors and friends. The passion for fishing and the outdoors grew more every year as I got older. In 1999 I caught my first King Salmon out of Lake Ontario near Pulaski NY. Ever since then I was hooked. I've been fishing Lake Ontario on my own since 2005. Since then I've worked my way up to where I am now. I worked for several different Charter Captains as a first mate before I received my Captains license in April of 2022.
Techniques: Fishing techniques we use at Pondskipper Fishing Adventures are mainly trolling but, we also jig. We troll down riggers for cold water species such as Salmon, Lake Trout and Brown Trout. We run in line planner boards for warm water species like Walleye, Northern Pike, Muskellunge, Bass along with spring time brown trout. We jig for perch, bass and walleye.
