We found Captain Gage to be overall rude and seemingly inconvenienced by us. When booking the trip I informed Gage we would love to catch a few fish to eat then, finish the trip with reeling in a bigger fish to make the event memorable. I didn’t feel this request was too far out of the ordinary as other charters I’ve fished with at other locations gave the opportunity to reel in something large without requesting. Really not sure how I was rude at all ? We have different trips for a reason guys you aren’t just going to produce a big fish out of know where or the bait for that we have to run alot future go get them and you didn’t book a monster trip that’s the big fish trip so I understand you would love to get the best of both worlds but it doesn’t work that way I’m sorry . We put you guys on almost 30 keepers in two hours .

Caught a lot of fish but was told we were going for good “eating” fish, then afterwards we’re told the goal was grunts. Captain and first mate didn’t seem interested in our experience and we were constantly reusing bate that was half chewed off. Hardly any tips on fishing and they knew we were inexperienced

I’m so confused on this review lol caught alot of fish ok .. you booked a 4h trip as in the trip you booked it says we catch grunt ... and grunts taste amazing ! For the reason we were using the same bait as it works lol you don’t need a new piece of bait every drop and that’s why with you having no experience you caught alot of fish . I mean come on .
