We had so much fun on this trip! Ok, so we didn’t really catch any fish. But that did not ruin our experience! My kids (teens) are adopted and their bio family is Bajan, so we took this trip to Barbados for them. They were absolutely thrilled to spend 3 hours on a boat with two very nice and very cool Bajan guys. They gave up on fishing pretty quickly and all they wanted was to sit on the boat and listen to fishing stories and the history of Barbados. Patrick and Ashley really delivered on this! I think my older son nearly died of happiness when Patrick told him
he was a smart kid. He’ll be talking about that for a long time.

Long story short; we didn’t catch fish but we had a trip that made the whole family happy. The kids were impressed and excited (hard to do!), and the adults got to relax with rum, beer, and excellent guides to the Barbados coast.

4 of us took this trip on 14th January 2023. Bit of a rocky start, taxi driver was late picking us up, he slept late but we got to the dock and were greeted by the lovely Lisa who had kindly upgraded our boat to Moms Therapy for free. After 10 mins or so we were on our way with Captain Ashley and 1st mate Patrick. These guys are awesome! Friendly, knowledgeable and up for a laugh. We trawled for a bit but had no luck so switched to use hand rods and we caught Amber Jack and Tuna. This was cooked for us onboard with some spices and tasted delicious 😋. Whilst trawling Patrick was giving us some local history and information on great places to see and good places to eat.  Ashley and Patrick also took us to the shipwrecks to see the fish and swim with the turtles, a most unexpected but welcome extra. Ashley also bought some delicious homemade coconut bread with him. I would not hesitate in booking again with this company especially if we had Ashley and Patrick on-board. Thsnk you Therapy charters we had an amazing time ❤️

The fishing, not so much.

We did this trip last year and due to bad weather we caught no fish - but gave it another go this year and caught around 10 small tuna! Hooked into a 40lb wahoo but it unhooked. Hooked a couple tunas that got hit by a mystery big fish and returned with just their heads!

The crew was awesome, they clearly knew what they were doing and were very personable as well. Overall great experience and will be doing it again next year!

We were on Dad’s Therapy just myself and my 2 boys.  It was fantastic as it was only us and not us along with several other strangers.  The sea was a bit challenging but the crew made the best of it.  We hooked up on something large but it sheered the line.  We
Also landed a ‘Cuda.  With the family ready to get off the open sea we found a bay where the boys got to swim extremely close to sea turtles and saw some Tarpon.  Colyn & Jefferson were great and taught us lots on our trip.  They will even pick you up and take you back to your resort if you need it.
