Can SertogluRepeat angler5.0VerifiedNEWIt was a wonderful trip!
half day trip • 3 adultsThis was definitely one of the best charter trips I’ve ever taken, if not the best. Capt. Arthur Cortes is extremely knowledgeable about the fish and the waters in and around Jamaica Bay, but more importantly, he loves to share information and is very enthusiastic about fishing. He answers every question in great detail and leaves you very satisfied, a rare quality hard to come by in most captains. He tried hard and made sure we found the fish and we ended up catching a bunch of force albacores, couple of Spanish mackerels and a Bonito. Will definitely go out with him again and strongly recommend his charter.

Ryan Johnston5.0VerifiedGreat Guide and Fishing
3/4 Day Trip • 2 adultsArthur did an excellent job on all fronts. Caught a ton of fish. I’ve used a number of guides through Fishing Broker, all of them great, but he is at the top. Great service, genuinely a nice guy, easy to get to/from, nice boat and equipment. Will definitely be back!
Response from CaptainThanks Ryan. Great day on the water

3/4 Day Trip • 2 adultsArthur was a great captain. He got all 3 of us on fish even though the fish were a little hard to find. When it's 95 in the city, it's only 85 on the water; great way to beat the heat with a fun and friendly guide.

Half Day Trip • 2 adultsBeing an angler in Manhattan, you don’t expect to do much fishing. Your usually limited to a crowded public park or pulling shopping carts out of the East River. However after discovering Captain Cortez charter, I finally found a way to fish how I want when I want. A quick 30 min drive from the city puts you in a landscape anglers only dream of having targeting a variety of species in a small boat ideal for serious fisherman and novices alike. I would recommend this charter to anyone and will be going again soon.
Response from CaptainThanks for the kind words and you guys are always welcomed on my boat.
