Bask in the scenery of Long Island's stunning coastline while perfecting your light tackle or fly fishing skills in the company of the experienced guide Arthur Cortes. Sit back, relax, and enjoy complimentary snacks as you journey in search of a fish to remember.
You'll be fishing aboard a 23' Northcoast center console boat, which offers a spacious and safe ride for up to 3 passengers plus the guide. Powered by a 225 HP suzuki engine, the boat features state of the art electronics, including a fishfinder and a chart plotter to get you on the fish. There is also a radio and CD player on board for your enjoyment.
During your trip, you'll fish for Striped Bass and Bluefish with a sea-savvy captain who will instruct you in fly-tying and proper casting techniques, as well as bottom bait-fishing. He'll also offer instructions in conventional fishing techniques. All the gear you need will be provided, and you'll make the most of the guide's thorough knowledge of where the big fish bite.
Arthur will contact you after booking to confirm your meeting location, and he'll make sure that everything is taken care of. He'll will even provide snacks and drinks when on board, and he's got you covered for your fishing license.

Arthur did an excellent job on all fronts. Caught a ton of fish. I’ve used a number of guides through Fishing Broker, all of them great, but he is at the top. Great service, genuinely a nice guy, easy to get to/from, nice boat and equipment. Will definitely be back!

Arthur was a great captain. He got all 3 of us on fish even though the fish were a little hard to find. When it's 95 in the city, it's only 85 on the water; great way to beat the heat with a fun and friendly guide.
Being an angler in Manhattan, you don’t expect to do much fishing. Your usually limited to a crowded public park or pulling shopping carts out of the East River. However after discovering Captain Cortez charter, I finally found a way to fish how I want when I want. A quick 30 min drive from the city puts you in a landscape anglers only dream of having targeting a variety of species in a small boat ideal for serious fisherman and novices alike. I would recommend this charter to anyone and will be going again soon.

We had a blast with Arthur the first time so we booked another trip a few days later! We caught a number of fish and definitely want a rematch with the stripers! Arthur is knowledgeable and very personable with s great rate! I definitely recommend booking with him!
What a great experience! Weather did not cooperate in the morning but we still managed to have a great day! He gave us extra time because of the weather, and helped my 12 year old catch some nice ones despite the weather. we will be back for sure.
