- I myself (Captain Marty) have been fishing in Port O’Connor for over 40 years and been guiding Professionally for nearly 30 years and strive to make every trip a memorable one and we aim for quality fish and to make memories on every trip. My son, who also is a guide, Captain Matt who will deckhand and as well as take guided trips on the vessel too. He has been fishing in Port O’Connor his whole life, and is very knowledgeable of the waters. We both do our very best to provide an excellent experience with professionalism and to make every trip worthwhile. We feel it’s our duty to provide the most memorable time on the water because not everybody gets to experience catching a fish of a lifetime. We try to reproduce that on every trip. It is something we are very excited about, to see the smile after somebody lands the biggest fish they’ve ever caught in their life!! So we pride on ourselves and catching quality fish! So that means we will try our absolute best, we won’t give up. We will go above and beyond to try to find some fish and make it a great experience!
