Growing up, people in our community called me a 'pier rat'. I spent many nights fishing from the famous Indian Rocks Beach pier. My friends and I as well as other beach kids would fish all night for shark and then go to school the next morning. There is nothing quite like trying to pay attention in school with no sleep and visions of a 'big one' at the end of my line dancing in my head. While Hurricane Elana destroyed the pier in 1985, the pier rats are still around, and many of us are still close friends to this day. I obtained my captain's license in 1986 and it was one of the most exciting days of my life. It allowed me to share my love of the water with others.

Great Trip
Half Day Trip – Offshore on September 18, 2026 • 6 adults
We were a group of 6 freinds chek off one of our bucket list items. Captain and fist mate Craig were awesome. Capt. Dave met us on te pier walked us down to the boat. They helped us gt our cooler on the boat and gave use the run down of what to expect. We did the halfday trip andit was great. A couple of guys had to deal with motion sickness and the crew was very helpful and understanding. They kept bait on our lines and helped everyone tht needed it. We caught quite a bit of fish and Capt. Dave cleaned and filleted them all for us. We then went to Crabby Bills where they cooked some of our catch and boy was that fish delicious 😋 Overall a great time and I definitely recommend the Hustler to anyone thininf of chartering a fishing trip

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Outstanding charter experience from start to finish! The captain was extremely knowledgeable, put us on fish, and took the time to explain what we were targeting, why we were fishing certain areas, and the techniques that worked best. As someone who appreciates learning while fishing, that made the trip even more enjoyable. What really stood out was how great they were with my daughters. They were patient, encouraging, and made sure the kids were involved the entire trip. The crew created a fun, family-friendly atmosphere while still catering to the serious fishermen on board. For anglers, the boat was well-equipped, the tackle was in great shape, and the crew worked hard to keep lines in the water and maximize fishing time. They knew where the fish were holding and kept us on productive spots throughout the trip. The fish cleaning service was second t o none. The fillets were expertly cleaned, completely trimmed, and packaged beautifully. Some of the best fillet quality I've ever received from a charter operation. If you're looking for a charter that combines professionalism, fish-catching ability, family-friendly service, and top-notch fish care, this is the one to book. We will definitely be back!

Perfect family fishing trip.
Full Day Trip – Offshore on May 23, 2026 • 6 adults
Captain Randy and his first mate Ryan aboard the Hustler made our deep sea fishing trip perfect. The day started with a two hour ride to the first spot, with plenty of comfortable places to sit in the shade inside and outside the cabin. Once we got to the first spot the fish were on immediately, catching plenty of keeper sized grouper and snapper. Captain Randy and first mate Ryan kept us on the fish all day and didnt hesitate to move the boat once the bite slowed. We will definitely be back aboard the Hustler for our next trip.

Got us on fish
Half Day Trip – Offshore on April 6, 2026 • 4 adults • 1 child
We went out in the morning and caught about 40 fish with over 20 keepers. Would recomend going again. We had 1 adult 2 teens and a 12 yr. They had all the fish cleaned and baged in about an hour. I would say this trip would be for any age, we were about 15 miles off shore. make sure to bring sun screen.

Great Experience Deep Sea Fishing!

We had a wonderful time, Randy and crew were great! They stsyed busy putting our bait on and tsking off the fish. We caught a wide array of fish snd have fish to eat for months! My family had never been deep sea fishing before snd they loved it, we definitely recommend this team!!
