There's no guarantee when you're fishing, but just some of the species you can catch around here include Redfish, Snook, Spanish Mackerel, Tripletail, Pompano, Sheepshead, Ladyfish, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Black Drum, and more, depending on the season. For these species, you're likely to jig using light tackle.
Trips with Hustler Fishing Charters are great for kids, so feel free to make a family day out of it! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. You're welcome to bring snacks to maintain your energy throughout the trip!
Your trip begins aboard a 23' Falcon center console with space for 4 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water. Rods, reels, and tackle are covered by the charter, as well as lures. Live bait is included, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
Capt. Randy also operates a custom 39' Number One Hull if you are looking for the offshore experience and can take up to 6 passengers.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, just show up ready for a good time! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.
You can't go wrong when you bring bottled water, sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

awesome capt. fun trip!!
Captain Randy Schwab was absolutely an excellent person to charter our half day fishing trip. Pleasant, courteous, knowledgeable with a wealth of experience which he shared freely. was great with my 10-year-old grandson as well as the adult passengers. We sought out varieties of fish and actively caught them in multiple locations. Also happened upon a grouping of dolphins, which was icing on the cake. Overall, the trip could not have been better. On a return trip to Tampa/Indian rock Beach would actively seek him out. Thank you, Randy!

Growing up, people in our community called me a 'pier rat'. I spent many nights fishing from the famous Indian Rocks Beach pier. My friends and I as well as other beach kids would fish all night for shark and then go to school the next morning. There is nothing quite like trying to pay attention in school with no sleep and visions of a 'big one' at the end of my line dancing in my head. While Hurricane Elana destroyed the pier in 1985, the pier rats are still around, and many of us are still close friends to this day. I obtained my captain's license in 1986 and it was one of the most exciting days of my life. It allowed me to share my love of the water with others.
