Not the day we hoped for but still a great one. We opted for offshore, which is never guaranteed. Captain Greg and his crew worked hard to put us on fish, but we just couldn’t land any. A couple whales and dozens if not hundreds of dolphins kept us entertained. He let us extend the day to give us a better chance then took us inshore and extended the trip longer until we reeled in a couple bass and nearly a nice halibut too (sucker bit the line as we were pulling it into the boat). Captain Greg and First Officer Mike showed us a great time, with good fishing and a really family-friendly experience. There were 6 of us, including 4 adults and 2 young children, son 10 and daughter 5 1/2. The crew were very attentive to our needs, helped us with everything. We had an afternoon 4-hour trip planned, but they were very flexible and we had so much fun we upgraded to a 6-hour tour which included a mini side excursion to go see some dolphins. Took the two kids and wife for their first fishing trip. I wanted them to get some fish and Captain Greg delivered!! We caught bonito, calico bass, barred sand bass, spotted sand bass, barracuda, sculpin, and even a white sea bass! Family is hooked on fishing now! Can’t wait to book another trip and get out there again! Thanks Captain Greg and Ryan for a great day of memories on the water!

First time for me and my 6 year old fishing offshore. The boat was smooth comfortable and well stocked with snacks and drinks. Captain and crew were great company and set us up on the fish. When the fish were biting they were busy making sure everyone’s line was baited and back in the water all while teaching us about the different species we would catch. VERY kid friendly boat, me and my son will booking another trip in the future.

Boat already bait loaded and ready to leave by 6am. Professional, friendly and very helpful crew. We had a mix of skill level on board and crew adapted to all. We caught three kinds of sea bass, baraccuda, halibut and even a mako shark. Released most, kept a.few legals for dinner. Overall a most excellent outing.  HIGHLY recommend.
