Stewart's Sportfishing welcomes you aboard! Join Captain Greg on the waters off beautiful Oceanside for an epic day of fishing.
Halibut, Sculpin, Lingcod, Red Rock Cod, Whitefish, Sheepshead, Barracuda, Bonito, Yellowtail, and Skipjack can be found. Yellowfin, Bluefin, Mako, and Thresher are in these waters seasonally, as well.
We’re likely to troll, bottom fish, jig, and pop, with plenty of live bait, lures, and other necessary tackle. For the more adventurous among you, a spearfishing trip can be arranged with the Captain.
If you are planning a family adventure, kids are absolutely welcome! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, no worries. We will provide the appropriate size.
You'll step aboard a 38' Bertram with capacity for 6 passengers. She has outriggers, large bait tank, an enclosed flybridge with extra seating, and all the essentials no fishing vessel can run without. There's a private enclosed restroom on board for your convenience. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as live bait.
The First Mate will be there to make sure everything runs smoothly. The Captain and Mate work hard to make sure you have a great trip. A 10-20% tip is appreciated.
Before coming aboard, it will be necessary to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is available online at the California Dept. of Fish and Wildlife, and are usually
available at Walmart, Big 5, Dick's Sporting Goods, and local tackle shops.
Don't forget to bring sunglasses, a hat, and sunblock (non-spray). Cold bottled water, assorted drinks, and light snacks are provided. You may bring food and drinks aboard in a small cooler if you wish. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just please avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
We look forward to having you aboard!

First time for me and my 6 year old fishing offshore. The boat was smooth comfortable and well stocked with snacks and drinks. Captain and crew were great company and set us up on the fish. When the fish were biting they were busy making sure everyone’s line was baited and back in the water all while teaching us about the different species we would catch. VERY kid friendly boat, me and my son will booking another trip in the future.

Boat already bait loaded and ready to leave by 6am. Professional, friendly and very helpful crew. We had a mix of skill level on board and crew adapted to all. We caught three kinds of sea bass, baraccuda, halibut and even a mako shark. Released most, kept a.few legals for dinner. Overall a most excellent outing. HIGHLY recommend.

I’ve been fishing off the coast of So Cal for more than 25 years, and have been an O’side local for 15 years. Holder of my 50 ton USCG Captain’s License. I have been fishing since childhood, and I love all of it. Watching others catch fish and catch that stoke is the best part. My crew/team are Oceanside locals, and have been fishing these waters all their lives. Wishes for Fishes!
