Our family thoroughly enjoyed our second trip with Captain Chris.  He and first mate, Jason, did a great job making our experience an enjoyable one. Both are very knowledgeable and patient with both of our kids and my wife and me. Though the open ocean was too rough for deep sea fishing, we went around to several different spots within the bay to catch a variety of fish.  Both trips with Captain Chris got us enough fish fillets for a delicious meal at Aunt Kate’s (also highly recommended). This time it was Red Drum, amazing both blackened and fried. Boat and equipment are top notch for the price. 10/10

Incredible Day on the Water with For What It’s Worth Fishing Charters!

We had an unforgettable fishing trip out of St. Augustine with Captain Chris Worth and First Mate Jason of For What It’s Worth Fishing Charters. From start to finish, everything was professional, fun, and incredibly well-run.

Captain Chris knows the waters like the back of his hand and put us right on the fish. We caught a great variety—barracuda, black bass, snapper, triggerfish, and porgy. It was non-stop action, and the boat was well-equipped and comfortable for our group.

What really stood out was the energy and enthusiasm of both Captain Chris and Jason. Jason was on top of everything, making sure we had bait, gear, and help whenever we needed it. And Captain Chris didn’t just steer the ship—he was right there fishing alongside us, helping us reel them in and keeping the momentum going.

If you’re looking for a charter that’s both serious about fishing and all about a good time, look no further. This was one of the best charters we’ve ever been on, and we can’t wait to book another trip with For What It’s Worth.

Captin Chris knew exactly where to go to start catching fish.  Once they stopped biting, he moved to another spot.  Catching fish was his main priority.  My father in law started to get a little sea sick and Captin Chris took that very seriously, checking on him and giving him ginger ale.  Great trip.  Thanks again Captin Chris!

My family had a great time fishing.  Captain Jacob got us onto a school of Yellow Trout and we were hauling them in left and right.  Once we had our fill of trout they took us out to another reef where we caught a bunch of sea bass and red snappers.  Never a dull moment.  The best part was they filet the fish and gave us a great recommendation for a place that cooked them up for us.  Fresh and delicious.  Would definitely book them again.

Our 8 hr off Shore turn into a 4 hour inland due to weather but Chris and crew took care of us and everyone in the party was happy made some great memories with our family and were glad that Chris and Jacob was our crew looking forward for a return trip when we come back to visit, Chris look us up if you come to Oregon will be happy to take you Salmon Fishing, Thanks for the great time.
