Captain Chris Worth started his own angling adventure many years ago, fishing the New Jersey coastline as a kid. He has always loved being on the water and is constantly trying to improve his skills both as an angler and as a charter captain. Capt. Chris has been living in the St. Augustine area with his family since 2012. He loves the area, loves running charters here, and can't wait to show you his favorite fishing spots!

    Fun Family time!

    4 Hour Inshore Trip – Inshore (PM) • 5 adults • 2 children

    We have come to St Augustine for the last 6 years and always try to find new excursions with the family. My 12 year old has been very into fishing so we wanted to find something related and we came across What its Worth Charters and picked the 4 hour off shore. Due to tough waves, we ended up doing in shore and my 12 year old and 8 year old had a blast! They have talked about it for 2 days straight! They were so patient and kind and even taught us some things about this amazing town. We ran into a few dolphins which I was the most excited for so it was fun for all! We will definately do this again next year!!

    Excellent Fishing Experience!!!

    4 Hour Inshore Trip – Inshore (AM) • 4 adults

    Captain Chris and his crew are knowledgeable anglers that made sure the family had a great experience. He was actively communicating with other captains to find the best fishing hole possible. He also recommended Aunt Kate's to prepare our catch which was absolutely amazing. We will definitely book with him again the next time we are in St. Augustine!

    Great Charter and Great Time

    4 Hour Inshore Trip – Inshore (AM) • 3 adults

    Chris (Captain) and Jason (Deckhand) were very personable and the boat was well maintained. We were immediately on fish and Chris kept us there for the entire trip. We caught numerous species and keepers. Chris recommended a great place to take our catch to have it prepared for lunch. This was a great trip and a great day. Thank you Chris and Jason.

    Only caught one shark, but the crew, Chris and Jason were the best. Nobody out there was catching fish. That’s how it goes, but the experience alone was worth it. Early birthday present for my husband, and he loved it. Thank you Chris and Jason ! Maybe we will see you around when I talk him into moving

What's biting with For What It's Worth Charters in St. Augustine

Catch Trout as they spawn inshore and sight cast to tailing Redfish on the flats during a flood tide. The weather starts to cool dramatically, changing up the species caught offshore on a daily basis.
