Captain Chris Worth founded For What It's Worth Charters to share his love of the ocean with as many people as possible. He offers trips to suit any budget or schedule, heading offshore in search of big bottom fish and pelagic predators.

Anglers of all ages are welcome aboard and beginners are always encouraged to take up a rod. From the moment you book, Capt. Chris and his skilled first mate will tailor your trip to suit your party and your goals for the day.

Trips vary from what type of trip is booked. We fish both the ocean and inshore on the Intra-Coastal. Offshore we can bottom fish for Red, Vermilion, Lane Snapper, Triggerfish, and more. Depending on the season we may troll for King Mackerel, Mahi, Sailfish. For specific trolling depending on the season we offer a specific trolling trip. Inshore fishing on the Intra Coastal will be fishing Jetties, Docks, Creeks, and Banks for Flounder, Red Fish, Mangrove Snapper, Sheepshead, Spotted, Yellow Mouth Trout, and Black Drum.

However you spend your day, Capt. Chris's 26' Sea Fox center console is a great place to spend it. Built in 2017, she cruises at speed thanks to her twin 200 HP Yamaha outboards. She features the latest electronics, as well as outriggers, downriggers, and a range of quality tackle to let you take on big game monsters with confidence.

The boat is also great for families, with a covered top to escape the sun and high sides to keep the kids safe. She has plenty of comfortable seating and even features a head for extra comfort on longer trips.

For What It's Worth Charters trips come with everything you will need for the day's fishing, including fishing licenses for your whole group. At the end of your trip, your catch will be cleaned and filleted ready to eat (tips always appreciated). All you need to bring is your sunscreen, food, drinks, and a camera to record the great time you have onboard.

Fun Family time!
4 Hour Inshore Trip – Inshore (PM) on June 10, 20263 adults2 children

We have come to St Augustine for the last 6 years and always try to find new excursions with the family. My 12 year old has been very into fishing so we wanted to find something related and we came across What its Worth Charters and picked the 4 hour off shore. Due to tough waves, we ended up doing in shore and my 12 year old and 8 year old had a blast! They have talked about it for 2 days straight! They were so patient and kind and even taught us some things about this amazing town. We ran into a few dolphins which I was the most excited for so it was fun for all! We will definately do this again next year!!

Awesome
4 Hour Offshore Trip - Offshore AM on July 16, 20264 adults

Only caught one shark, but the crew, Chris and Jason were the best. Nobody out there was catching fish. That’s how it goes, but the experience alone was worth it. Early birthday present for my husband, and he loved it. Thank you Chris and Jason ! Maybe we will see you around when I talk him into moving

Fun Trip
6 Hour Offshore Trip - Offshore AM on July 15, 20262 adults1 child

Captain Chris and Jason were great especially with two nearly 8 year olds on board. Had a good time, wish we were able to catch a bit more, but that's why they call it fishing and not catching! 😂 Had a really fun time with the crew and kiddos and enjoyed! Thanks Capt Chris!

Excellent Fishing Experience!!!
4 Hour Inshore Trip – Inshore (AM) on June 11, 20264 adults

Captain Chris and his crew are knowledgeable anglers that made sure the family had a great experience. He was actively communicating with other captains to find the best fishing hole possible. He also recommended Aunt Kate's to prepare our catch which was absolutely amazing. We will definitely book with him again the next time we are in St. Augustine!

Great Charter and Great Time
4 Hour Inshore Trip – Inshore (AM) on May 4, 20263 adults

Chris (Captain) and Jason (Deckhand) were very personable and the boat was well maintained. We were immediately on fish and Chris kept us there for the entire trip. We caught numerous species and keepers. Chris recommended a great place to take our catch to have it prepared for lunch. This was a great trip and a great day. Thank you Chris and Jason.

Reported catch:
Sheepshead
Flounder
Southern Kingfish
