This was our first time ocean fishing, and Kim was incredibly kid-friendly. He was very patient and kind with our 9 and 6 year old children, and he also set everything up in a way that made it easy for me as a beginner to catch fish.

The boat was very clean, and Kim’s driving was safe and professional, which made us feel comfortable the entire time. It turned into a wonderful and fun memory for our family. We would definitely book again!

Fishing was so fun. We did a short two-hour trip, and Captain Kim was incredibly kind and knowledgeable.
It was funny because when we got on the boat, we told him we were there for my son, that this was his show and we were just there to support him. He laughed and said, “No, come on, you have to try.” My daughter and I ended up catching fish, and my son didn’t 😂
Captain Kim definitely turned my daughter and me into fisherwomen.

captain sc Kim was absolutely amazing! so adament to make aure you catch fish, yet is so fun and pleasant to be around! He makes sure your safe on the trip which matters alot to me, but teaches you in detail how tonreally catch a fish! We booked two trips this week… and it was definitely the highlight of our trip! this is hands down the best fishing charter around…. and captain sc Kim made the teip worth every minute!!!! will be back in the apring and WILL book with sc Kim!!! 🤗😎

This is the first time we’ve ever been to Hilton head South Carolina. Captain Kim was a gentleman from start to finish. He was very prepared, gave great fishing tips, and genuinely wanted us to catch fish and have a good time.

My wife son, and I all caught fish and had a great time. My wife, who normally doesn’t go fishing with us much caught the biggest fish which was a 19 inch spot fish. Captain Kim fillet the fish for us immediately after we got off the boat and we enjoyed eating the fish she caught for lunch.

I definitely recommend Captain Kim and would absolutely do it again.

The best tip that I would recommend when you go fishing that Captain Kim gave us was when you get a bite to simply pull up on the rod straight up into the air and set the hook.
I kept making the mistake of reeling and pulling at the same time which makes it harder for the fish to keep in their mouths and more than likely. I was probably pulling the bait right out of the fish‘s mouth instead of setting hook.

So remember, simply pull up the rod and you will get more fish.

Captain Kim is a born fisherman.  We genuinely feel sorry for red fish and sea bass when he is out there looking for them.  Kate caught a red fish that was big enough to feed us both and it was delicious!  You could tell that Captain Kim’s entire purpose when he took us fishing was for us to catch fish…and we did!  He cast for shrimp for us to use as bait for certain fish.  He took us to places we didn’t know even existed and then found fish for us to catch there.  He is very friendly and congenial.  It was our very first fishing charter and I fear we are spoiled for any other charter captain.
