I Love Fishing Charters 

We had an incredible trip with Captain Kim! He was extremely knowledgeable about the local waters and knew exactly where to put us on the fish. We booked a 3-hour inshore trip with our 5- and 7-year-old boys, and honestly I wasn’t sure our youngest would make it the whole time. Captain Kim proved me wrong. He kept both kids engaged from start to finish, was unbelievably patient, and made the experience fun for everyone. The fishing was fantastic—we caught a ton of fish and a wide variety of species, which kept the excitement going all morning. If you’re looking for a guide who’s not only an excellent fisherman but also amazing with kids and families, Captain Kim is the one to book. We’ll definitely be back!

Went out in less-than-ideal conditions...slack tide in the summer heat. Captain Kim took us right to a spot he knew would be good in spite of conditions, and we started reeling in fish! Wound up catching a keeper reds (which we immediately took to Hudsons to have cooked-delicious) and one flounder that was just shy of the mark, plus several smaller reds and flounder. Then Captain Kim moved us to several other spots, and at our final cast, my son caught a 21-inch red! Captain Kim is great with instructions, then lets you do the fishing. Super nice man and a joy to be with on the boat! Will definitely book with him again!

Captain Kim did a great job today with our family!! Me, wife, 5 year old, and 1 year old had a great time! The fish didn’t cooperate but captain Kim was working his butt off trying different spots, baits, setups, etc. Always at the mercy of the bite, but despite not a ton of targeted species, SK did an awesome job making sure everyone was comfy, having fun, and entertained! We will be back next year!!

I booked a last minute trip for 3 with Captain Kim and It couldnt have turned out better. Captain Kim put us on the fish and was incredibly helpful and patient dealing with the differening skill levels. He made sure that the youngest (10) was well taken care of and taught him some valuable skills. He knew the right spots to put us at at the right time and with the right bait. We ended our trip with a 23” and a 19” red drum, a whiting and a good sized croaker. Highly recommend.

4 retirees with little fishing experience were able to catch 3 Black Drum keepers, plus a trout and a few other fish, in conditions that Captain Kim didnt think we would catch many if any! He knew the spots and changed up from bobber to bottom to lure fishing. The 4 of us had a great time for 3 hours!

being our first time in Hilton Head Island we decided to take a short 2 hour trip and we went with Captain Kim. He very informative for us since it was our first time fishing this far south of where we are originally from we are mainly freshwater fisherman we didn't catch a ton of fish you offer 2 hours and caught around 11 fish between my son and I but we learned a ton from Captain Kim would definitely recommend his boat

My husband and my son enjoyed a little father/son bonding time, getting out and doing something out of the norm on our Hilton head vacation trip. It rained while the guys were out, but that did not stop them from having fun and catching fish

My family, whose been coming to Hilton Head at least yearly for over 40 years, has been on more than a dozen lagoon and in- shore fishing trips in the last 10 years. On this trip, we caught by far the biggest variety of fish and by far the most to take home for dinner! SK is very knowledgeable and made it very fun for our 13 year old son as well. Definitely recommend and will go with him again!

Captain Kim was the absolute best, not only was he very professional but knowledgable. He knew exactly where to take us to catch the fish. This was a special trip for me and my husband because it was our 1 year anniversary and his first time seeing the ocean EVER! I couldn’t believe he had never seen the ocean when we first met but I’m glad I was able to make that memory with him and Cpt Kim made it the absolute best experience ever. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a fishing trip. Will definitely be back.

Captain Kim provided so much knowledge and help and made the entire trip so enjoyable. It stormed here the night before and he kept watch of the weather to see what it was doing and adjusted the time of departure based off of when would be the best time to go. We definitely will book again and recommend Captain Kim to anyone who is looking for a great fishing adventure!
