- Background
- I grew up in North Carolina fishing for Crappie on Lake Hickory. When I relocated to east central Flroida, I became enthralled with the natural beauty of Mosquito Lagoon and the Indian River. I could have fished anywhere in the world but have chosen to pursue Redfish and Seatrout in the back country and flats of the estuary.
- Techniques
- The fishing we do in the Lagoon is generally light tackle spin casting with live baits and artificials. Occasionally we use a little heavier equipment for bottom fishing. My 19 foot Tunnel Hull takes us back among the islands of mangroves and flats to stalk Redfish and Seatrout. See manatees, dolphins, eagles, sea birds, wading birds, alligators, and many others in their natural habitats. Enjoy the sun on your face and the wind at your back.
