  I had an absolutely amazing time on this fishing trip! From the moment we left the dock, the captain was friendly, professional, and made sure i had a great experience. He was very knowledgeable, helpful, and worked hard to put us on the fish. The boat was clean and well-maintained, and the entire trip was organized from start to finish. Whether you’re an experienced angler or it’s your first time fishing, they make the experience fun and enjoyable for everyone. I caught some great fish and he even put me on a lemon shark, made awesome memories, and couldn’t have asked for a better day on the water. I highly recommend this charter to anyone looking for an unforgettable fishing adventure. I’ll definitely be booking another trip. 10/10 experience!

  Captain H was gracious and helpful to our family. We booked the whole boat and brought my son, daughter and my wife. Both of or children are adults. My son and I were there for the fishing, and we caught fish on the ocean, and many more in the intercoastal waters. After my son and I had a number of fish caught, Captain H then took us into St. Augustine at night, on the water, it was beautiful to see this historic place from the water. We traveled down to St. Augustine for a teachers conference and went away with some great lessons in fishing and wonderful family memories. I'd easily book again with Hope Floats! ZIP ZIP!!

  We arrived and Captain Hector was so welcoming and just could tell he was an amazing guy!! He taught my son ( who loves fishing) so many things about fish and more!! We really enjoyed his company and he had everything we needed and more! My son is already talking about coming and fishing with Hector again next year. It was a core memory for our son and we are so very grateful! The price of experience is so very reasonable and we wish we could have tipped him a lot more , he is an amazing human! Thank you Hector for giving our son such a wonderful experience!- Graf family

  Captain was amazing!

  5 Hour Trip - 7:00 AM on April 9, 2026 • 6 adults • 4 children

  I have four children aging 4 to 12 all wanting to do different things, including fishing and sightseeing. The weather was slightly chilly and rainy on the day that we went out, but the captain made sure that we were all comfortable. The captain had snacks and drinks for all the kids and my son even caught a stingray! He went above and beyond to make sure the kids were comfortable and had a great time! He was very easy-going and accommodating! Can’t wait to go back out with him on a sunny/warmer day. Definitely recommend for a family outing!! Recommend without hesitation!!

  We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves fishing with Hector! He is a knowledgeable and experienced captain and angler. The larger fish were not biting very much due to the weather, but Hector worked hard to help us catch several small ones: flounder, catfish, sea bass, and brim, among a few others. This was our kids’ first time on a fishing boat and they loved it! I would highly recommend this fishing charter with Hector! Definitely worth every penny! We would love to book again next year when we are back in town.
