We had a great fishing trip with Captain Keith & 1st mate Dylan out to the gulf stream. This was our 1st trip to the gulf stream & we couldn’t have been in better hands than with Dylan showing us the ropes on trolling in the ocean with multiple lines out. We caught several good fish like a 50 lb. Wahoo, 6 ft. Sailfish & several tuna & barracuda. Dylan didn’t miss a beat… a few ttimes we had multiple hook ups. Dylan was a great host & we had a blast. I will be using Wet & Wild again!

It was our first trip fishing in the ocean (myself, girlfriend, son, and daughter) and we had a blast.  The captain and first mate were professional, courteous, answered all our questions and shared a lot of information.  Our only regret was not booking a longer trip.  We did 4 hours and it flew by really fast.  Next time we will do at least 8 hours.  The highlight of the trip was my son reeling in two big trout, one right after the other.  Highly recommend.

Weather was rough few days prior so it did stir up the waters a good bit but out of multiple boats that were out we were the only boat fishing, the captain knows what he’s doing and knows how to land you on the fish when no one else can!!! Already planning three trips for the future!!!!

Due to Hurricane Helene’s path through the southeast, the weather on Friday was going to be bad enough, the Captain rescheduled our trip for Saturday. Friday evening, he let us know the winds and swells were going to be high, making the trip uncomfortable for those prone to motion sickness. My group still wanted to go, so we were ON!!

Saturday morning, at 4:30 a.m. while my group was in the car en route to the boat slip to board for our 50+ miles foray into open waters, the Captain called and stated (as a responsible boat owner and Captain would do) he was up checking the weather and the winds and swells were going to be TOO GREAT (with a small craft advisory) that we would have an awful experience and not catch anything, trip canceled. We asked about doing a near-shore fishing trip or the Intercoastal Waterway and he explained about the fresh water (rain and the river head release) making the water such that we would not catch anything. Maybe other boat owners/captains would have taken our money, but he was being straight with us. Trip canceled to be rescheduled.

About 7 am, sitting on the deck of our rental, the water was calm, the winds low, so sending him a short video, asked the question, is it better now so we can go? He replied “West wind is deceiving, offshore no change. Not more than a few knots anyway.” I’m happy our captain was honest. We will come back to take a trip and catch the Big Ones (tuna, wahoo, sailfish)!

This was my wife’s first nearshore fishing trip, and we couldn’t ask for a better day. The water was calm, along with a great a great crew. The Captain put us on some nice size flounders, and we finished our Charter with some Spanish Mackerels.
