Background: I have been fishing my whole life. While stationed on Camp Lejeune as a Marine, I fell in love with the area and the saltwater fish in it. I have been fishing these waters since 2010 and am looking forward to sharing all the knowledge I have gained.
Techniques: I love fishing for Redfish in the skinny waters back in the marshes, and following the movements of the big schools on the New River. We will catch these hard fighting fish on light tackle using live, cut, or artificial baits. We can also pursue other species such as Speckled Trout, Black Drum, Spanish Mackerel, and more.

Fishing Half Day Inshore PM

We love going out with Luke and his pup. He got us in the hunt today and we were pulling them up as fast as the lines were going in. He’s very considerate of his clients as well as preserving the fish and ensuring everything is done correctly. Every time we’ve taken folks out with him he’s been very personable and he brings knowledge to all who go out with him. Use his services if you want to catch some fish, gain some knowledge, and roll out with a great pup.

We were unfortunately stood up the day prior by another captain in the area. Captain Luke reached out to us after I explained what happened and made sure our friends visiting had the best fishing experience. The kids absolutely loved it. I loved the fact that he was very professional, timely, and detailed. He check in with us the night prior and went over all details and got our expectations! We highly recommend CPT Luke and we will definitely be using him again.

Luke is an excellent guide and knows the inshore and just offshore areas like no one else. He was able to quickly get us to productive fishing areas that no other guides/boats could. Luke knew where the fish were likely to be and when to move to different locations based on changing conditions. The boat is fast and well suited for the marshes and ocean/bay during calm conditions. We had a blast with The Marsh Man and Blankely! The scenery was beautiful! We got to do a lot of fishing and caught some interesting fish! We learned a lot about the area!
