I have always loved fishing. I grew up in Ohio, fishing for Smallmouth Bass and Walleye. When I got older, I've spent 6 years as a U.S. Marine and fished in North Carolina and southern California. I moved to Islamorada in 1986 when my enlistment was over.

I like to use light tackle when possible, However we need heavier gear for Grouper and bottom fish
