Captain Eric went above and beyond to make sure we had a great trip.  I am an experienced angler and I learned many new things from Eric.  His boat was very roomy and comfortable.  We absolutely wore out the Kokanee Salmon.  It was a busy day the quantity and quality of fish was impressive. It was well worth the trip from Texas. My wife and I will definitely be using him again and will we highly recommend him regardless of your experience level.

He made the mistake of calling me by the wrong name when we met at the dock….I immediately knew we were going to have a great day! We spent the morning chasing after lake trout, that were big teases! We were only able to bring 1 on board before heading out to find the salmon and a quicker pace. My husband’s birthday trip!!! and exciting it was. We caught 5 kokanee salmon and 1 trout. He has the best and latest technology as well as experience to make that happen. The scenery of the Flaming Gorge is breathtaking not to mention the osprey wildlife. We encountered a wind storm which notched up the excitement but Captain Woody knew exactly what to do and where to go. The boat cabin made that unexpected adventure a-lot more comfortable. Well worth the trip and we will be back!

Incredible, new boat with enclosed cab for bad weather.  Captain Eric got us on two huge lake trout over 25lbs and then found us some Kokanee. Very accommodating to what we wanted, even filleted our fish for us. I couldn’t recommend more.

Really nice equipment and the captain worked non stop to put us on the fish we were going for. I would definitely recommend booking a trip with papa woodys.
