I chose Captain Carlos because the reviews said he was good with kids and I was taking my 12 year-old son. I figured if he was good with kids, he would have patience. And patience is what makes a good fisherman and captain. My son left the day a better fisherman, just like Carlos promised. My son had a very low confidence about fishing, but left the day feeling so proud of himself.

Carlos did not disappoint. He took us right to where the fish were biting. But he did much more than that, which really made him stand out. He was attentive; always replacing our bait and getting us back in the water, offering advice on where to drop our lines, keeping us fed and hydrated, taking great pictures of our catch, and making fantastic conversation about fishing, the local communities, and the waters.

Carlos is a captain that knows what he is doing. We caught six different species: snook, sheepshead, pufferfish, mangrove snapper, spade fish, and grouper. He helped us successfully land all these and did an amazing job helping my 12 year-old son get the two biggest fish in the boat. My son catching a 20” sheepshead was a highlight for the whole boat!

I can’t recommend Carlos enough. Book him now and you won’t regret it! Next time I am here, he will be my go to!

I gotta say this was the best fishing Experience in ever had I’ve never caught so many fish. I’m pretty positive that he must’ve paid somebody else to bring us to the best fishing spots.

Capt. Charlie is HANDS DOWN the best!! He puts you on the fish. He’s constantly running around the boat making sure you are always taken care of whether you need rebaited, a net man, a snack, or something to drink. He is great about making sure everyone feels included even if you’re a little quiet. He is an Amazing Captian! You gotta Bookem with Hookem!!

Captain Charlie was wonderful.  couldn’t have asked for a better experience.  he was knowledgeable,  knew his fish,  was right on it when we broke a line, kept bait on our lines.  very personable.  We will be back for sure.  we also got to see dolphins that hung out next to the boat.  Enjoyed every minute.

We are vacationing in Fort Myers beach for the first time and found Charlie online. He is knowledgable and made the trip fun from start to finish. He knows the local waters well and took us to multiple spots. In no time we were catching fish!

The experience was great for both fishing enthusiasts and beginners. My nephew caught his first fish in 5+ years. Charlie hookem was attentive and made it a great exprience for all, I would definitely recommend him.
