6 Hour INSHORE - MORNING • 3 adultsHad an amazing day out on the water with Captain Ryan! The weather couldn’t have been better, and we managed to reel in a few nice fish. At one point, we were thrilled to have two on the line simultaneously—it was such a blast! We caught some reds and a snook, and while we could take one home, we had to release a couple because they were too big. Overall, Captain Ryan made the day truly enjoyable, and everyone had a fantastic time!

Brian was knowledgeable, friendly, and worked hard to put us on the fish. He knew exactly where to go and when to move. He was always willing to share tips and help whenever needed. The boat was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, making the entire trip enjoyable. What really stood out was his positive attitude and professionalism, he made us feel very welcome. 4 Hour INSHORE - AFTERNOON • 2 adultsFirst time we ever went fishing out on the ocean, we caught several red snapper and lane snapper off shore and captain Brian took us inshore to catch some red drum. We both caught 40 inch red drum before we left and had a great time chatting and hanging out enjoying the beautiful weather. We were both super stoked for reeling in the biggest fish we’ve ever caught thanks to captain Brian! We also got to see some dolphins and sea turtles along the way. 10/10 recommend Slick Calm Charters for anyone trying to fish in the area :)

6 Hour NEARSHORE- MORNING • 2 adultsCaptain Brian is the man. We had an offshore fishing trip planned but the weather wouldn't permit so Captain Brian decided it wouldn't be safe to go offshore. He gave us the option to reschedule or try to get of some fish inshore. Managed to get on a big jack pretty quick and we continued to catch fish throughout the day. When it was all said and done Captain Brian made sure to refund the difference for the offshore trip and that I got the pictures of the fish I wanted. All in all a great trip definitely worth it.

First cold front of the year.

Fished this week with Ryan and Jason and their wives as the first real cold fronts of fall rolled through. With morning temps dipping into the 50s, it made for a crisp, beautiful start to the day on the water.
The bite started off slow for the mangrove snapper and trout — those cooler temps had them a bit sluggish — but the big redfish were more than ready to pull on the line. We managed to find some solid fish that gave everyone a fight to remember.
It’s officially fall fishing season here on the coast, and while the fronts can make the conditions tricky, the reward is always worth it when those oversized reds show up in the spread.

Charlie hit me up earlier in the week and said he hadnt been on the water in a while. Pucked him and a buddy up at the ramp right before sunrise and fished till just before it got hot. It was tough fishing with the bad wether just off shore but still got the job done.

Father and Son Doubles

Recently had Steve hit me up for some time on the water with his dad. We hit the water early before sunrise and got on the hunt. With all the wind durring the week and water levels being high, the first couple spots were a bust. Third times the charm. Big snook broke us off on a dock, doubled up on some big redfish shortly after that, and finished off the big fish with a tarpon kicker!!! Halfway through the morning we switched gears and went after dinner fish, trout and mangrove snappers for a fish fry later. Great day on the water.
