There is something that is borderline magical about stepping onto a skiff and pulling away from the dock. Leaving the cares and worries of life at the waters edge and looking out towards the unknown adventures of the day. Each day is different and major seasonal changes along the way. Regardless of the obstacle, you take it by the horns and hold on for the fight.
With many different types of fishing from live bait, artificial, fly fishing, spot fishing, dock lights, and trophy hunting.
The thing that gets my blood pumping is the sight casting of Redfish in the shallows. Its where fishing meets stalking and hunting. You need to think like the fish, be aware of your surrounding, stealthy and silent, and ready to present to them what they are zoned in on. When it all comes together that's when the fun begins.
My job as a guide is to try and make these pieces come together and then if I can capture that experience, feeling, and memory with a photo that's even better.
