Our trips are run aboard a Pathfinder 2300 HPS, one of the most versatile and comfortable boats in its class. With a smooth, dry ride and plenty of seating, it’s the perfect platform for exploring the inshore and nearshore waters around New Smyrna Beach, Ponce Inlet, and Mosquito Lagoon. From sunrise cruises to family adventures surrounded by dolphins and manatees, every detail is designed with your comfort in mind.
When it comes to fishing, we take pride in using only top quality gear Shimano reels and Crowder rods to ensure every hookup feels as smooth and powerful as it should. We specialize in targeting trophy inshore species like snook, redfish, and tarpon, providing thrilling battles and lifelong memories for every angler aboard. Whether you’re after a bucket list catch or a laid back day exploring Florida’s scenic waterways, Slick Calm Charters delivers the perfect mix of adventure and relaxation.
*** please do not use spray sunscreen durring your charter as its bad for the fishing gear and boat. Cream or stick sunscreens are perfered.

Capt. Brian was fantastic in every way. Super communicative and very interested in getting us on the fish we were hoping to catch. Having been on many charters this has been one of the top three and the best in FL. I hooked the biggest snook but it tail danced itself free. We almost caught our limit of big mangrove snapper which we wanted for dinner. My 8 yr old son had the best time and Brian was incredibly super with him. Look no further, we’ll be connecting with Brian for the next one!

Our family of 5 had an amazing fishing trip with Captain Brian! From start to finish, the experience was top-notch. We caught plenty of fish and had a blast doing it. Captain Brian was not only incredibly knowledgeable about the best fishing spots, but also super friendly and easy to talk to. He made sure everyone felt comfortable and had a great time. Cold morning on the river but Capt. Brian pulled off a great trip! He shared great tips and tricks as well as some great conversation. We had family in town from Germany and he was able to put them on some great fish to include a beautiful bull red that really made the trip. Highly recommend!!!

We had a great time on our fishing charter! The captain was cool and flexible, letting us start the day chasing big fish. We landed a 39-inch red drum that put up a good fight, and then switched gears to catch some smaller ones that kept things lively. The kids loved it, and it was great to see them having so much fun. Overall, a solid trip - we'd recommend this charter to anyone looking for a fun day out.
