Thankyou for your review Mr.Wagner.It is always a pleasure to get some one else’perspective on how we run our vessel.You must realize that as I told you we had a huge flounder tournament just prior to you booking your two hour fishing trip and that the 300 or so odd boats had pounded the river and that trolling for blues was your best option.In a trolling scenario one person must set the rods at certain lengths to ensure a tangle free spread as many continuous turns are completed.Thats also why there was no casting going on.Since your trip was a two hour trip with a half hour travel time each way we were limited to approximately an hour of fishing time.Which we spent making the most by catching you fish.As for your comment on my suggestion on crabbing my job is to tell you what is hot and what is not.Crabbing and trolling was hot,flounder fishing was definitely not.As for me just taking your money,we ran over top of several miles of places I could of had you drifting and dreaming for flounder,instead we ran extra miles burning extra fuel to see you all had action.Thankyou again great to hear from you!Captain George.

Thankyou Mr.Blessing for your business.As I said the day of your trip the days the fish don’t bite are the most difficult.All we can do is supply you with a safe fishing platform,bring the proper baits and quality tackle.We supplied you with live spot,fresh cut bait and gulp of every size and color.Trolling with the proper size baits and technique was also used you recall.Please take in to consideration that it was blowing 20 plus miles an hour and this had the water very murky .The three days in a row fishing prior to your trip had good fishing .As I stated at the close of your mornings fishing I can’t make them bite.I tried to steer you in the direction of crabbing first thing then spending the last couple hours pursuing fish when the tide was at its optimal level..Sorry the fish did not cooperate .Thanks again.Captain George ..

Thankyou for your prompt review.It was quite an enjoyable morning having three generations of your family out on the back bay.From the moment your son started raking up clams till the moment he quit pulling up the crab traps I knew I had done my job.You have to realize that that is why we do what we do .To put our customers and there children in the right location with the right equipment .His excitement an enthusiasm was all the review we need.I hope you all enjoyed our Indian river clams they are the finest on the east coast .I know you probably were looking for the big haul of crabs but after taking you all to catch all the clams you could eat(as you put it)making a few drifts fishing ,The tide was at it’s daily worst time for crabbing.Even though I took the time to move all our crabbing gear twice,your four hours had ran out.If you crab enough you will soon come to realize that not everyday is a slam dunk and four hours goes by way to fast to to clam,fish and crab.It can be done but I would suggest a longer trip if you can find the time .It was great to share some hunting stories with your father .He is a real sportsman and a pleasure to have meet .Thankyou again for choosing us for your morning excursion.Captain George…
