- Background
- I've lived in the South Padre Island area my whole life. Fishing is something I started doing really young, when I was around eight years old, since 1995. I would catch small Perch and Catfish in nearby resacas. Later on, I started fishing saltwater and never went back to fresh. I have had three boats and the boat I have now is my best one ever. Since I used to be a math teacher, I can say I'm great with kids and they're more than welcome on my trips.
- Techniques
- I like to fish using all the techniques possible, but I use light tackle to catch big fish. I like to use lures, but when they're biting on live bait or fresh cut bait, I am always prepared. I use top of the line equipment, such as Shimano and Penn reels, St Croix rods and fish on an awesome Shallow Stalker with a dependable Yamaha outboard.
