We had an awesome time with this charter.  Captain Ruben is a great guide and will make sure everyone has a great time.  He’s really accommodating and is always willing to help any way he can.  He knows great fishing spots and is extremely helpful when it comes to catching fish, teaching fishing techniques, filleting fish, etc.  We highly recommend taking a fishing trip with Captain Ruben!

Our group of four had an amazing day on the water. First cast out and we brought in a fish. The captain was very knowledgeable and kept us on fish. He took the time to teach us about each spot we fished and where we should be casting. He went above and beyond to make sure we caught fish we were able to keep. The boat is new and spotless. I can’t recommend this enough!

I have fished Laguna Madre for many years. Free fishing with croaker is the fastest way to catch game fish (trout, reds) while minimizing undesirable species (catfish, rays, perch). Everything eats shrimp, so you attract a fun variety with it. We caught plenty of different fish, including eel, whiting, croaker, perch, rays, too many catfish, nice black drum, and rarely a trout or small red.
