- As the son of a Navy Master Chief, Captain Phil Power has spent his life on the water. From a young age, fishing has always been a passion. At 19, he received his Captain's license which he used to run parasail boats and nearshore fishing trips in Florida, targeting species like Tarpon, Cobia, and Amberjack, just to name a few. Shortly after receiving his license, he returned to San Diego and continued his parasailing career. After which Capt. Power found himself as a deckhand on a long range fishing boat where he honed in his skills. He has spent the last 20 years exploring the waters off the coast of San Diego and catching the species it has to offer. He is now living his dream of running his own boat to share his passion with customers.
