We moved to Alaska 11 years ago with my wife and 4 children chasing adventure and found a deep love for fishing. I spent 7 years on a commercial seiner, learning the rhythm of the sea and the thrill of the catch. Five years ago, we bought a tackle shop—great in its own way, but I missed being out on the water. So I bought the Granite Cape to keep the adventure alive. Now I get to share what I love most: being on the water with my family and helping others experience the excitement of reeling in halibut. There’s nothing better.
