August fishing trip

Very nice day on the water; I would highly recommend Cap’n Michael Healy as he made the day that much more enjoyable.

Captain Healy goes above and beyond what you expect. He was a teacher as well as a guide. High marks!

Captian Rob took my son out and put us onto some amazing fishing. we landed Steelhead and have great memories. Highly recommned, great guide and service.

October fishing trip

Came with my 12 year old son for a weekend and Michael made the trip worth it. Knowledgeable, patient, can fix birds nests like it nobody’s business. Kept us on the water well beyond the 6 hours. Highly recommended especially if you have kids. No doubt we will be back again with Michael in the near future. Much appreciated and such. Great guy. Thanks

September fishing trip

Summer river trip was a pleasure w Captain Mike. 

Salmon River Estuary

It's cold and most of the fish are hibernating. You can hook Steelhead in the tributaries, however. If the conditions allow for it, head to Oneida Lake to ice fish for Perch and Walleye.

You may find a few Steelhead and Brown Trout in Lake Ontario's tributaries. Ice anglers can also enjoy Oneida Lake if the ice is thick enough.

Steelhead and Brown Trout continue to bite well. Cheer up with the annual Wings and Things Fest for delicious chicken wings, drinks, and raffles.

April through to June is prime time for delicious Brown Trout in the 8–20 lb range. On occassion, Chinook Salmon will show up in Lake Ontario's offshore waters this early as well.&nbsp;

Smallmouth Bass makes for a reliable spring target. Walleye anglers can also rejoice – the season is officially open! Get on the Brown Trout bite while it's hot, too.&nbsp;

This is the month for Smallmouth Bass, so prepare your tackle box accordingly. &nbsp;Brown Trout continues to bite well.

July is still great for Smallmouth Bass, and the Brown Trout are active too. For Steelhead, use light tackle for great results.

Activity begins to heat up for Salmon, usually Coho first, as they begin their spawning season at the end of August. Brown Trout continues to be active, and Smallmouth Bass is still good.

This is the month for Chinook and Coho. Once in the river, their focus is on spawning, not eating, so traditional lures won't work here. The Salmon River will get very crowded for the next two months.

This is one of the best times to go after both Chinook and Coho Salmon. The Salmon run is nearing it's end, so get your lines in the water as fast as possible and observe all the regulations for the area.&nbsp;

This is your last chance to catch Salmon. After they die off, you can concentrate on catching the remaining Steelhead and Brown Trout.

December is a good month for catching Brown Trout and Steelhead. Join in the Christmas festivities in Pulaski and celebrate the end of a great fishing season!

Head to the Oswego and Salmon Rivers to enjoy a quiet and relaxing day on the water. Steelhead can be hooked in good numbers in the upper end of the Salmon River.

Hop aboard a drift boat to find Brown Trout and Steelhead on the Oswego River. The Salmon River is also a productive zone to check out for these fish.&nbsp;

Spawned out Steelies are start leaving the Salmon River and head into Lake Ontario. You'll also find Brown Trout along the lake's shorelines.&nbsp;

What can keep your rods moving if not large Brown and Lake Trout? Head into Lake Ontario's inshore waters for Brownies and into deeper waters to big Lakers.&nbsp;

The Lake Ontario fishing season welcomes you with open arms. From fierce Salmon and Brown Trout to large (very large!) Lake Trout out in deeper waters, there something for everyone.

Brown Trout are hanging out nearshore. The warmer waters agree with them and they're eager to bite. You'll also find Chinook Salmon in the lakes offshore waters.&nbsp;

Oswego River fishing offers up Walleye and Smallmouth Bass in good numbers. Lake Ontario fishing is nothing short of excellent, producing a number or large Chinook Salmon.

This is one of the best months to fish Lake Ontario. Chinook Salmon are biting actively as they start to make their move towards shallower waters. If you're chasing Bass, this is a great time to go after Smallmouth.

Reel-screaming Kings test your stamina, and Coho aren't far behind! For best results, head to the lakes tributaries. And don't forget about Steelhead! These fish come through later in the month.&nbsp;

Lake Ontario fishing is winding down, but the Oswego River, Salmon River, and Oneida Lake are on fire. Take advantage of the last of the Chinook and Coho Salmon. Bass and Trout are also on the cards!

Experienced anglers should head into the Salmon River to try their luck against Steehlead. Looking to hook Walleye? There's no better fishery than Oneida Lake.

The season has slowly down significantly, but you can still hook into Steelhead and Brown Trout in the tributaries. If the conditions are good, head to Lake Onieda to cast for Walleye.
