The day we had originally booked was apparently “too rough” to go out. Really, my only gripe about this was that it was not communicated to us until we had gone all the way to the dock at 5:45am. We pushed the trip to the next day, but we had to take a shorter excursion (with a corresponding discount) due to our travel plans. Captain and first mate were both great and set us up for success. Once we got out to sea, there was a big cluster of boats all trying to fish (and dive) in the same small area, but the captain handled everything very well. We caught a large (30-40lb) Amberjack and a decent-sized grouper, and there was definitely some excitement along the way! We’d have loved to have stayed out longer, and to keep what we caught, but our flight schedule meant we had to cut and run early, leaving us no time to clean, filet, and pack our catch. We’d love to try again in the future when we have more time. We wouldn’t hesitate to book these folks again.

captain James put us on fish right away and kept us in them. Jack worked his tail off getting fish off the lines and getting lines back in the water. We had so many fish that sometimes all 4 lines were hitting at the same time. As a bonus, on the way back in the channel we saw 3 dolphins. What a great experience. I can’t recommend these guys highly enough.

Capt James and his first mate, Jack were outstanding. We caught over 70 Spanish Mackerel in under 3 hours. My two young boys had an absolute blast. It was nonstop action from the time we set the first line. I would HIGHLY recommend booking a charter with him. We’ll be back again next year. The kids can’t wait.

We had a fantastic time with Captain James and mate Ryan.  This was a test trip to see who was interested in a longer offshore run.  Everyone agreed that this was one of the best days we’ve had in a long time.  We can’t wait to do it again in a few weeks. 

Boat was clean and well maintained.  Gear was in good shape.  Mate was very easy to chat with and seemed to really enjoy what he was doing.

Captain James and Bennett were both awesome and my family had a great morning catching plenty of mackerel for two nights of dinner.  Super nice guys and just an excellent overall experience.  Thank you!!!
