Captain Manuel asked us our fishing preferences first thing. We spoke about what we did and did not want to do. Wasn’t interested in trolling for the hope of a trophy catch. I had two teenage boys with me and we planned the trip around getting on fish right away. We also wanted to fish ourselves and not have a first mate hook every fish and hand the rod over as many other crews are used to. Overall the experience was great. Crew worked hard through some tough fishing conditions and put us on fish. Wasn’t the best trip I’ve had catching but without the hard work we’d have been skunked. I’ve been on several trips across the US, Hawaii, Virginia, Alaska and multiple trips in Caribbean. Crew earned their tip today.
