This was by far my favorite fishing trip I’ve taken in my life and I try to go fishing every vacation I go on. My fiance even said it was the highlight of her whole vacation and I couldnt have agreed more. We spent the first half of the day fishing and we caught alot of fish and different species. That followed up with some amazing food that you would never expect to be cooked on a little grill on a beautiful little beach. After that we finishes the day with snorkeling around the reef. He took us to a place where we were the only boat. It was breathtaking. If you are on the fence about booking with Will dont hesitate it was truly a once in a lifetime experience start to finish.

Booked the trip as a somewhat experienced fisherman and with someone who was pretty novice, didn’t matter the difference in abilities though it was a great time. The fishing portion started the trip and Willie put us on them immediately, we quit keeping track of how many we got after about 30(I would say we caught between 75-100). Almost every cast led to a bite if not a fish. After fishing willie took us to a secluded beach and cooked up our catch, which was incredible. Even the non-seafood eater in the group had to admit that the food was incredible. Then to cap the trip off we ended with snorkeling where we saw everything that the reef had to offer. Saw plenty of turtles, sting rays, a shark, and plenty of schools of other reef fish. If anyone is apprehensive about booking this trip they shouldn’t be, it was worth every dollar. Next time we’re are in San pedro(and there will be a next time) we will definitely be booking this experience again. 10/10 would recommend.

We don’t normally leave reviews, but couldn’t pass this opportunity up to share. My husband and I spent Sunday with Capt Willie and are so glad we decided to book this adventure. He initially took us out to a deeper part of the reef where we caught mackerel and lady fish, then took us to a shallower spot for large black, yellow, and mangrove snapper (as well as other kinds that I can’t remember). We saw an Eagle ray swimming on our way to the 2nd sight and Capt Willie slowed the boat down and let us watch what ended up being 3 beautiful eagle rays. He told us all about them as well as other wildlife we may see during this trip. After we’d caught our lunch and the bite slowed a bit, he took us to a beautiful, quiet beach where he filleted and cooked our catch. He made ceviche with snapper and fresh veggies, made 3 other kinds of snapper recipes as well as coconut garlic rice. This meal was better than the restaurants we ate at while in Belize. Once full, Capt Willie quickly cleaned up and took us to a different part of this beautiful reef for snorkeling. He was in the water with us the whole time, pointing out the many different kinds of fish we were seeing, the different types of coral, etc. If you are able to, highly recommend this trip! Capt Willie was so laid back and easy-going. He taught us so much about the reef, some Belizean history, etc, we will def be going out again when we come back!

Treated us like royalty. The fishing was wonderful and the snapper was plentiful. When we went to a private beach and he cooked our catch 2 different way with rice and potatoe side dishes we are both food Eze and chiefs owning 2 restaurants and the food was fantastic. We then went snorkeling and saw sting rays, sea turtles tropical fish galore. The coral and flora was amazing. We than went back to the dock it was hard to say goodbye, we made a life long friend today and we will be back.
