Background
Since childhood, I have been fascinated by aquatic environments. Initially, this fascination manifested through carefree play and the discovery of a magical world beneath the surface. Later, it evolved into a professional involvement in various water sports, such as swimming, water polo, and fishing. However, the exploratory side of my interests ultimately outweighed the athletic one, leading me in the direction I continue to follow today. Combining the professional knowledge gained from my education with the hands-on fieldwork I have been doing for years, I started enjoying educating others. In the early days, this took the form of writing articles for magazines focused on sports fishing, followed by field-based education for children under 12 on aquatic ecology and sport fishing. Alongside this, I also worked as a skipper on sailing yachts and catamarans during the summer season. This experience helped me develop a deep understanding of the “nature” of the sea, which I consider essential for the work I do now. I view sport fishing as a beautiful discipline that personally fulfills me. It’s a passion I love unconditionally, and I would like to share that passion with others, offering them the opportunity to experience both the scientific and technical aspects, as well as the relaxation and enjoyment it provides.
