The mangroves are impressive, and the wildlife is impressive. We saw large crocodiles up close, as well as birds and monkeys. Recommendation: To ensure a good experience, I recommend booking in advance, especially during peak season. Don’t worry about fishing equipment; there’s plenty of tackle and lures included in the package, and there are catch-and-release fishing options. Drinks and snacks are included.

I want to give Jorge credit for communicating prior yo our arrival and getting us to the boat. His boat and equipment were fine but there didnt seem to be a plan for fishing. There was a language barrier which made it tough. The first stop was a solid pick and we caught a stingray. The only instruction was the word jig. the second stop showed promise as 2 fish were caught but we were quickly asked to leave by security as that was the cruise terminal. After the first 45 minutes there really was no plan. We tried to fish in the mangroves for about 20 minutes but Jorge said the tide was too high. Then he tried trolling but the crank baits kept coming to the surface and i felt like i knew how to do this style of fishing better than the guide which isnt saying much. we just spent the last 2 hours trolling without hope. I think Jorge will someday be good at guiding but there really wasnt a backup plan when things arent going as planned.
