Ken and his wife came to Costa Rica, excited to fish for mahi mahi. We were able to put together a specialized trip after they contacted us on FishingBooker. These are just two that they reeled in! A third got away. We had a great time with them, making ceviche on the boat from their catches. They wanted a memory of the beautiful dorado, mounting a replica of their catch with Gray Taxidermy.

Wayne came with us on a Full Day Sport Fishing trip. He was in search of Mahi Mahi, so we headed up north to our favorite fishing spots. He goes fishing on most of his vacations, but never has any photos to show to his wife. Well, today he reeled in a few Mahi Mahi that were definitely worth proof! They came in at about 22 - 30 lbs. each. This has been a great season for Mahi Mahi, especially the full day trips. It doesn't show any signs of slowing down, either! This week, Tim came to us with the goal of reeling in a Roosterfish. This fish is a prize catch-and-release in the Papagayo Gulf. We were very happy to be able to deliver. This weekend, mahi-mahi arrived in the Papagayo Gulf! It's the best time of the year. We went up north for a half-day sport fishing trip. After some pretty tough battles, both Robert and Nobuo reeled in 50 lb. mahi-mahi. The fish that we kept on board made for a few amazing dinners! For this full-day fishing trip, Larry and his crew joined us for a trip up north to take advantage of the great fishing brought on by the recent rains. We ended up having a great day, catching 4 large red snapper, a couple Mahi-Mahi, and a rainbow runner. All four of them landed a catch. They ended up making a dinner reservation for 40 people and had enough fish to serve everyone! No one went hungry this trip!
