we were quite thrilled to do our first deep sea sport fishing. We had reserved for 5 hours in PM. Unfortunatly, instead of having our pick-up at 1PM, we ended boarding the boat only at 2PM, resulting in a lost hour of fishing. After trying for around 2 hours to catch Mahi-Mahi or similar fish to eat with zero bite. We then decided to go for a more sport fishing near the coast (Roaster), but ended out spending another hour to catch some live bait for that type of fishing (we only had very limited fish pieces aboard). With all this, we only had one hour left and again, not a bite.
We understand that fishing has a great deal of luck in it, but we expect the crew to know the great spots and expected at least some action!
The boat was great, the crew were not so fluent in english which has quite limited our means of communication.
Next time, we’ll be looking for a more experienced crew and a larger boat for real deep sea fishing.

We did not catch the elusive roosterfish but had a great time anyway.  The crew was really friendly and created some awesome cerviche on the spot when we caught a small cero mackerel.  The scenery alone is worth the trip.
