It was a tough fishing day, with a few bites but no solid hook-ups at first, as the fish wasn’t biting properly. However, our captain never gave up and made the experience exceptional. We had an amazing time on this charter! It was just me and my girlfriend, and she’s newer to fishing, but the captain was incredibly patient, helpful, and made sure she felt comfortable the whole time. We ended up landing four barracuda and one giant mahi-mahi, and even lost a few barracuda when they sliced the line with their teeth which just added to the excitement. We had an absolutely great day on the water. Captain Zejek is incredibly knowledgeable about the local ocean, boating, fishing, and everything in between. He was so aware of the weather and where the birds were to try to get us on some Tuna or Marlin. We came home with a Mahi Mahi, which we had for dinner tonight! This Captain was great. Despite not catching anything. The captain did try everything he could to get us onto some fish. We did hook up to a tarpon but they spit the hook both times. The captain gave us 2 hrs extra free of charge to try deep sea fishing. The sharks unfortunately ate whatever i would hook into. Beautiful day of fishing. Captain Zejek is incredibly knowledgeable and easy to work with. Caribbean waters took some getting used to but once we were trolling he did everything he could to put is on the fish.  we landed three monster Mahi!
