A sunrise departure in January 2023 was a bit chilly to start but Captain Torrey soon put us on the fish. My son and I had an awesome day - caught our limit of Black Drum and then went to another location where we snagged some trout and Redfish. On our return, Torrey cleaned our catch and we went home with a decent-sized cooler of fillets

We had a great trip with TNT charters. Our group consisted of a 9 year old boy, a not very spry 79 year old(my dad), a nursing mother( my sister)and an avid fisherman(me). Captain Torrey did a great job handling the specific needs of this motley crew. He had a variety of fresh live bait for us, modern equipment in good repair, and a great boat set up. Fishing conditions were tough on our day, it had rained the 2 previous days and the wind had switched 180 from usual. The captain took us to several spots trying to find the red fish and he used a variety of tactics. We caught several short speckled trout, 2 keeper size trout and one red that was almost in the slot. It was a slight let down that we didn’t get to bring much fish home to eat but it was not from a lack of Captain Torrey trying, he worked hard for us and he wasn’t shy about burning fuel in trying to put us on a hot bite. He did a great job cleaning the fish that we did keep. If you are looking for an inshore charter for speckled trout, red fish, and black drum I can say that Captain Torrey with TNT Charters is a solid choice based on my experience fishing one half day with him.

I highly recommend booking your trip with Captain Nall.  My son and I had a phenomenal experience as we caught plenty of fish hitting out limit of Black Drum, 4 Speckled Trout and a 31 in Redsifh.  Not mention quite a few othered that were released.

Although a successful trip, my reason for this rating is the experience Captain Nall provides.  He truly put us first, teaching us the proper techniques, regulations, and local knowledge the entire time.  In fact, he gained a lot of credibility when he was demonstrating how to fish with a live croaker and caught a Speckled Trout with the first cast!  He also would also continually bait and cast a third line for us so that he we could maximize our fishing time.  He then cleaned our fish at the end of the trip. 

My son and I created an awesome memory thanks to Captain Torrey and will book with him again in the future.

We have been fishing with TNT Bay Charters multiple times over the last few years. Torrey is incredibly kind and helpful. He always knows the best places to catch fish and is a great teacher if you have never been fishing before.

Capt Nall, his boat and live shrimp and croaker were top notch. The highlight was netting a 25lb redfish that was struggling on the surface of the water. Capt Nall netted him, checked him out and released him in good condition as it swam away strong. Otherwise, fishing was slow and the wind got worse. Thankfully, Capt Nall allowed us to switch from the full day rate to half day rate and we returned early.  We really appreciated his flexibility and he tried really hard to find fish.
