    Unprepared and Not A positive fishing experience

    delayed 2 hours as they had no crew, caught 2 fish in four hours, didnt seem knowledgeable about where to fish, had to cut our trip short and kept 8 11 yr olds waiting for 2+ hours to get their act together. seemed more like a side hustle than a professional experience. ive booked multiple times on fishing booker. this was not the experience ive had in the past. a $3,250 mistake - at least the boat was nice and the crew at least tried to make it fun

Your booking was made late at night for an early next-day 8:00 AM departure. Due to the short notice, some captains had already gone offline for the night, which created a challenge in securing crew immediately. As soon as this became clear, you were notified right away and we worked quickly to make the trip happen by adjusting the start time to 10:00 AM. This way, you were not left waiting at the dock or wasting time with no crew present. Regarding the fishing results: fishing conditions vary daily and depend on many factors beyond anyone’s control. While our crew always aims to take guests to the best possible fishing spots, we cannot guarantee the number of fish caught, especially with a later start time when conditions may be less optimal. That said, our crew shared that you were very kind and generous with your tip, and we genuinely believed everyone still had a good time onboard. We appreciate that greatly. We take all feedback seriously and are always working to improve our operations, especially when it comes to last-minute bookings and early departures.
