I have been guiding since I was 16 years old, and have fished all over the world for many different species. I have also fished tournaments professionally for 8 years, before moving to Florida to specialize in saltwater fishing and getting my captain's license.

    best birthday fishing trip ever

    Half Day Trip (AM) • 2 adults

    Had an amazing time and learned a lot! We had some trouble with other charter captains canceling on us several times due to conditions, and we were in Clearwater for my dad’s birthday, and he was really disappointed to hear this. Captain Jeremy saved the day! He assured us, even with the wind, we would have success fishing the bay. We had tons of bites and caught a variety of fish, Snapper, Snook, LadyFish, Spanish Macrel, ect. Captain was also very knowledgeable on the areas, techniques, and was very helpful throughout the whole charter. We started in the morning and enojyed the beautiful sunrise! highly recommend this charter for all skill levels!

    3/4 Day Trip • 2 adults

    Best Captain we have had, Captain Jeremy is knowledgeable of where to catch the fish we were looking to catch as well as when to find them and what bait works best. We caught a variety of fish and each one we caught gave a nice fight. Red Drum, Red Grouper, mangrove snapper all give a fun fight and taste delicious. I really could go on and on about Captain Jeremy and his beautiful boat but I’d be writing for days so ill end it here by saying absolutely worth every penny and great memories were made.

    My grandson‘s first fishing in the Gulf

    Half Day Trip (PM) • 4 adults • 2 children

    My grandson and his cousin were very excited to start their new fishing experience. It was amazing to see how happy they looked when they’ve got their first fish. We had a wonderful time, just laughing and catching fish. The captain Jeremy was very helpful with the boys. He took us to spots where we were guaranteed to catch fish and we did that. Then I took us to an area where we could catch trout that was even more exciting for the boys. They know Mark has they’re lying and they had a trout on their line. Unfortunately, the only problem was that there were duckling. There were several times that they had a fish on their line and we’d get it close to the boat and the duck would take it. But that didn’t stop them from trying again, and they actually started enjoying fighting with the fish and the docks to see if they could get their fish in the boat. I would recommend this type of fishing with Captain Jeremy. If you happen to get him, you will have a wonderful time. Thank you, Captain Jeremy for making our fishing trip as enjoyable as it was.

    Fantastic experince from start to finish. Jeremy is excellent with communication and bery accommodating. Jeremy is a great captain that really knows his stuff and made it our best fishing experience. My son and I were looking for something outside the usual deep sea experience we have done several times and Jeremy delivered! Caught a lot of fish and had a blast! My son and I will be using Jeremy on our next trip for sure!

What's biting with Fish Slapped Charters – Clearwater in Clearwater

Fall fishing in Clearwater is top-notch, and both quantity and quality of King Mackerel attract anglers from far and wide. A little known fact is that there is still some good Tarpon fishing to be done along Clearwater Beach at this time of year.

Limits of snapper on every trip last week. We are also getting lots of redfish and some flounder mixed in. Ran 1 snook trip as well and caught a bunch with some big fish mixed in.

Nearshore Gag and Giant Mangrove Snapper

I have some days open next week and the weather looks awesome!!! The nearshore gags are fired up and some giant mangrove snapper also mixed in. Lots of throwbacks grouper to keep you busy all day. 6,8 hr trips available out to 10 miles and 4 hour inshore snapper and gag trips as well.

Limit of Mangrove Snapper and 8 Hogfish

Great nearshore bottom trip! Ended up with our limit of 15 mangrove snapper and 8 hogfish. We had lots of throwback grouper and hundreds of grunts. A couple big gags that we had to let go also!
